Michael S. Szymanski has been serving clients throughout eastern Massachusetts since 2004. His solo practice focuses exclusively on family law — divorce, child custody, paternity, modifications, contempt, and grandparents' rights — giving clients the benefit of deep, specialized expertise at every stage of their case.
Michael served for twenty years as a Trooper First Class with the Massachusetts State Police, earning an Honorable Discharge in 2019. That career instilled a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to every matter he handles — and a genuine commitment to protecting the people he serves.
Michael also offers divorce mediation services, providing couples with a constructive, cost-effective alternative to contested litigation. As a trained mediator and former prosecutor, he brings a balanced perspective that helps parties reach durable agreements while minimizing conflict.
